The Port Colborne / Welland & District Shrine Club, is a Club working under Rameses Temple No. 33 based in Toronto Ontario. Likewise Rameses Temple is a Shrine Temple working under Shriners International based in Tampa Florida. All Shriners worldwide are and must be a member of the Order of Freemasons.
Shriners main goal is in the help & support of “Shrine Hospitals For Children” Shrine Hospitals For Children care for children with a multitude of debilitating ailments & severe burns. And will do so at little or no cost to the child or their family. Shrine Hospitals are well known for the fact that they Do Not Discriminate against a child’s Race, Creed or Colour.
The Port Colborne / Welland & District Shrine Club has a multitude of fund-raisers throughout the year, with one of our on going being the “Aluminum Pop & Beer Can Recycling Project” We recycle for scrap Aluminum Pop & Beer Cans, as well as Liquor & Wine Bottles. Anyone wishing to contribute by donating their empty Aluminum Cans & Bottles are welcome to do so by dropping off their empty Cans & Bottles in the bin located outside the 1st barn just inside the main gate at the Niagara Regional Exhibition Fair Grounds on Niagara St. North in Welland
